He's a lawyer iirc, certainly something legal, that he was doing before becoming a hillclimb alien.

She’s also writing and selling books. I assume the YouTube content is monetised too.

It is but she doesn't have a massive subscriber base (41k) so maybe not making that much from YouTube itself.
But her sponsorships and ambassador roles will potentially also be paying money as well as equipment provision.

Daft question, but what is Kyle going to do for a job if missing work for 150-180 days ? Paying the mortgage ? Assume the parent's get a big dog for 6 months ?

I would imagine he would have agreed a sabbatical with his employer. He's definitely a builder, and rightly or wrongly I had assumed he is employed rather than being self employed, could be wrong.

They are young, have no 2 legged children, and they're probably not going to have a better chance to go on this kind of adventure together.

If they have been mega savvy, their mortgage might be tiny, and or they could simply rent the house out whilst they are away.
You can also often choose to only pay the interest on the mortgage for a period of time should you want to, or some mortgages if you have over payed, you can then take a payment holiday.

His film titles are horribly click-baity but I quite like the content beneath.

it feeds the algorithm, which as YouTube is in one of its perrenial stuff content creators in favour of mass media moods youve got to do unfortunately to keep the audience numbers

I think he's self employed. Maybe works for himself but will job for this guy, that guy as a brickie.

I also could be wrong. I wondered the same thing ages ago when these trips for him kept coming more & more frequently but then I'm sure they spoke on it in one of their podcasts & it was said he's self employed.

Anyway, she's a worrier & is money conscious so I don't imagine they'll be making decisions recklessley.
