Just read the news Snapper. Sorry for your loss. I know it is hard but please focus on all of those wonderful times you had together. She will always be with you in your mind. Take comfort that she is in pain no longer.
It is allways hard for those who care deeply for their pets. Nothing can be said or done to relieve the pain of the loss at first but time will be a healer when you are ready to let it.

I haven't had pets since I was a kid when we had rabbits and gerbils, and I remember the sadness when they passed away... can't imagine how much it must hurt when losing a dog who's far more of a companion.
