An ideas how to get Flowers home on a bike?

I managed it last week. The lady in the shop looked at me strange when I shoved the flowers into my rucksack.
Flowers sticking out of the top. Cycled slowly home.

You need to go slowly or make sure that the flowers are protected by the cellophane or paper.

Pannier - leave top open.

Or carrier bag hanging from handlebars. Might not look refined but less likely to damage them.

I imagine a rucksack may bend them unless you ride a Dutch sit up and beg bike.

I've brought flowers home in my basket - I'm guessing you don't have one.
I'd go for the bag over the bars, or stump up a few extra quid for delivery.

Picked flowers flat on the back of my rear rack, or stood upright if potted. Secure with bungies.

Flat along rach or enclused in bags and secured horizontally on handlebars.

I do this a fair bit, either sticking out of the rucksack or in the rear pannier. I always seem to get wide overtakes when carrying flowers. I also had a verbascum plant in my rear pannier and a foxy Polish girl pulled up behind me and said it was slipping out.
