A Scottish comedian, m'lud. Appears regularly on Radio 4 in the News Quiz and is extremely funny. A lot of her humour is based on the fact that she's a short Scottish middle-class middle-aged lesbian, and has the same boring preoccupations as middle-class middle-aged heterosexuals. I believe her suggestion that she should play the Doctor is a joke.
