I am going to try and ignore Mrs Postman's lack of tidyness,

It will leave more time for cycling. A win-win situation.

Yes I know, but the amount of people that don`t have the decency to flick their indicators on!! You must see where I`m coming from here:smile:

And it`s always BMW`s / Audi`s that are the worst culprits.................sorry if I have offended anybody:laugh:

Indicator use is a joke nowadays plus my last bit of appalling driving and cut up in 2015 was at Bow was by a 4x4 Panzer BMW.Lucky I was aware or I'd have collided with it.

Usual...
1) lose weight
2) try to avoid orthopaedic surgery (well after the shoulder is fixed in March anyhow)
3) have no booze for a bit (I should manage January and February, fall off wagon for holiday first two weeks in March, then back on wagon)
4) sort my career out I suppose (right now I'm unemployed as of 27 Feb)
5) cycle as much as I can, given the shoulder op will see me off roads for 3+ months
6) settle personal injury claim from Feb 2014 (hopefully)

I usually fail on 1 & 2...
I did think about the 3rd one but its maybe too big a step to take.......I am cutting down by 60% so I can still have a drink on match days and golf days.....most important

What is your likely 100 mile route ?
I think I have mine sorted but am worried it may be too hilly...........I will see how my training goes.
Good luck with yours.

I did 6 months no booze in 2015, so two months should be straightforward. I know I'll want a few beers on holiday so I'm not going to pretend otherwise!

Its a route from Rhyl, North Wales to Walsall through Chester. 85 miles of the route is away from the roads, 10 miles being a shared use path and 75 miles being canal towpath. Mostly flat, a few small inclines but not many and not steep at all.
