Seriously, though.

Drink much less and spend less, as I've a risk that my pay may get cut if I don't heal quickly and need some savings.

Start planning to do more fun stuff !

I`m not going to let people irritate me

And lastly............when out in the car, I am going to STOP indicating, it seems to have gone out of fashion now and any car made in the last 10 years doesn`t come with indicators, so why should I bother?
There is a certain amount of contradict there!

Yes I know, but the amount of people that don`t have the decency to flick their indicators on!! You must see where I`m coming from here:smile:

And it`s always BMW`s / Audi`s that are the worst culprits.................sorry if I have offended anybody:laugh:

My cholesterol level is as usual described as excellent by the doctor. I will concentrate on changing that. No more Brussel sprouts, French beans or cabbage for breakfast....well that might be hard so I will add more butter and salt.

If I had a car I would be offended. I haven't, so BMW/Audi self-gratification artist*

Just to remember to 'unclick' the 'watch this thread' option every time I make a post.. for some irrational reason that feature and all the latest alerts irritate the crap out of me every time I sign in....

This year I'm going to try touring. I've been saying this for years but I've failed  to do it.
So last night, in the first hour of the new year, I made a plan..... I'm going to try a weekend tour and I'll stay in a B&B. I think the expense of buying a tent, panniers and who knows what else, together with lack of knowledge of what touring is like was holding me from taking the first steps.
By going for a weekend I cut out most of the worrying I think. It's like going for a long ride but I'll spend the night in a B&B instead of coming home

My winter bike would be equipped to go now but I think I'm going to try a 26" wheel bike so I ordered some mudguards and a rack last night .... first, cycling related order of the year is in

The tricky decision is what panniers to get. I don't really have the need for panniers so I don't want to spend too much in case I don't enjoy touring after all. Having said that, they need to be good enough for the job..... I'm tempted to get proper panniers but they cost over £100 in the sales.... and if I never go touring again

The rest is all ready to go..... ^_^
