You can choose the delay prior to the start on Endomondo. I have mine set at 20 seconds so I can put the phone in my pocket and put my gloves on.

I am convinced it is dangerous as well as addictive on the downhills. Just became KOM on the Birtles descent (average 32.9 mph
) and third on the Wizard (car in the way
) . Not sure I would have taken the risks if Strava hadn't been on.

Birtles - hmm bit dodgy that. And Wizard ain't too clever - both have crap surfaces. I am KOM on Otterspool descent though and second going up it.
