if I hear that f*&%$£" Dreams advert one more time I swear I'm going kill something.
Every b*&^%y time a program finishess the Dream bed advert bursts out at twice normal volume without any warning and I break my neck trying to get to the damn remote to turn it down before my neighbours are blown out of bed

Damn lucky the ignorant idiot that programs the advert doesn't ;live near me is all I can say grrrrrr

It's not the content of most of the adverts that annoys me, it's the volume (or rather the sustained average sound, I'm told) which forces me to reach for the remote every time the ad break comes on. It's pathetic and annoying and actually counter-productive.

Love that Meerkat though.

Yeah, I can see the word 'simples' entering common use very soon.

I resent adverts in general though. It's bad enough that they interrupt the things you actually want to watch but I resent the fact that most of them are unimaginative, predictable and annoying. If they were clever, funny or artistic I might be inclined to forgive their intrusion but they're mostly crap. And too loud.

The meerkat advert is pure genius. I love how it was clearly a drunken afternoon in the pub for a couple of creatives, who suggested it laughing to their director on a Monday morning and it spiralled from there. It's worth going to the website...you CAN compare meerkats.

I'm sorry, but with the sad decline of channel 4, it's now possible to just watch BBC and completely avoid adverts.

I don't even know these adverts. I haven't even seen a full advert in weeks.
