Annoying or funny or both?

I'm not sure if it's possible to be annoyed and amused at the same time, but I came close when the following happened recently.

I was climbing a long and quite steep hill on a narrow road near where I live. A car was right behind me, and since the driver was not confident of his/her ability to overtake me safely, was holding back and waiting for a safe opportunity to do so.

So far, so good, but right behind the courteous driver was one of those trucks that has brushes on the side for cleaning the gutter, presumably on it's way back to the depot. The driver started blasting his horn, trying to intimidate the car in front to overtake me. I put up with this for a few blasts, and then dismounted and let them both pass.

As they overtook, I noticed a slogan painted on the back of the truck which read 'Don't Rush The Brush', obviously a humorous attempt to dissuade other road-users from being impatient when the truck is performing its slow-moving gutter-cleaning task!

Non-plussed is probably the best description for how I felt. I couldn't have made that episode up if I tried!

I like to follow it until it passes my house and then overtake saying " thankyou my good man , see you next week "

And garbage trucks (over here, anyway). They're an impatient, intolerant lot .
