Another attempt at getting a winter bike that meets my needs

I went for the CR3 with 105 hydro and the Mavic wheels. A few extra pounds on mudguards and stem, bars and seatpost I went for the pricier option. Very much looking forward to it.

That looks a nice bike/spec. My friend has a Ribble and loves it.

Thread resurrection time. Just to say the CR3 has been a great purchase and ideal winter bike, plus managed a 3 day and a 4 day super light tour with it. No major problems apart from a leaky rear brake that needed overhauling a few months in. Done 4 full winters so far
