Le Bicycle, round the corner from me in West Wickham.

I'd wondered what was happening, as the opening hours were becoming more and more random; now there's cardboard up on the windows.

Sad, I like Alex and the shop is in a place where you'd think it would do well. Anybody know the circumstances?

If so, I don't understand why, as his servicing rates were reasonable, he's a nice chap, and there's hundreds of cyclists going past every day.

Unfortunately Le Bicycle was never on the radar of good bike shops in the Bromley area. Not many people knew/knows about them.

Bromley Bikes, Giant, Cycles UK & Panagua in Bromley are all far more well known,

I hope not, but he seemed in fine fettle last time I saw him. That's why I was asking if anyone knew the circumstances, concern rather than nosiness.

Hopefully Youngs are still trading in Coney Hall. I use to go there a lot when Ray owned it and also when the new owner took it over as both could offer expert advice if I needed it. Not that their prices were too expensive compared to those on the Net either.
