Hello, i'm new to forums but thought i'd better get on and hopefully chat with other road bike tourers. I'm off round Scotland in May and could do with some tips.

There are quite a few CCers from Fife and they are sometimes even prepared to leave the Kingdom and 'slum it'

in the central belt to join us for a CC Ecosse Forum Ride

, normally posted in the CC & Informal Rides section.

As snorri has said, there are lots of experienced (and less so

) cycle tourers on the Touring & Expedition section, so head there and post away.
