Just back from the Cole Museum, nice little hidden treasure. Had just fitted some new tyres to my Puch so took it for a test ride there. The old tyres were falling apart as I prised them off, on them it says 'made in Austria', so guessing they were the original ones from new. The bike is single speed, so no SA hub to help with the year of manufacture. Anyways, it's good now for another few decades I expect :okay:

Are the brake callipers Wienmann? If so there’s a date “clock” on the flat side that’ll give you a clue.

Oh dear indeed, it now resides in the shed with the rest of the gang :laugh:

Not seen one in this maroon colour for any of the variants, looks to be original paintwork. Hub dates as '83

Has pump and ally mudguards, and plenty of life left in the tyres. Also a rack, and chrome bell

The adjustable cup looks to be a bit more user friendly - well done BSA :okay:
