Actually it is very serious this time. How do you find the time to go cycling? This is my dilemma as I am finding it more and more difficult to find the time to go for a ride. I am not making excuses, it is true: what with work, the Mrs wanting to go shopping, having visitors and visiting ourselves and ......the weather!!:banghead:
So I am just wondering how the rest of you find the time to go for a ride ( except a certain person who will remain nameless as I am sure he won't be reading this thread, bless him. )

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Like you it's at the margins; I'm up early and out for a ride (last Saturday it was a 6.30am start) or late in the evening.

My running & swimming for the triathlons often happens at 5am or 10pm.

Most of my riding is commuting, other rides are usually Saturday mornings where I'm back for lunch/early afternoon so have the rest of the day for 'stuff'.

I dont work on a wednesday so thats the best time for a longer ride.

Otherwise sat or sun with Mrs A but the ride will be shorter, but then i count my blessings she comes along anyway.

I go out for 1-2 hours one night a week (in summer) and for 3-4 hours every Saturday morning, and my wife is fine with that.

We don't have any money to go shopping anyway!

If I don't get enough exercise I get irritable and Mrs W realises I'm a much better company afterwards. There are times I'm told to go for a ride. Generally 1 to 2 hours a couple of evenings once the children are in bed, same at weekend's though during the day with occasional longer rides through negotiations. Still get mithered though.

Mostly commuting and errands for me, short rides with the girls when I can.
I do shift work, anything up to 14 hours, so when I get a day off after several on there's housework and stuff to be done first ... stuff like sleeping

90% is commuting and as pat said, my days off are housework first so I might get out on a Friday afternoon once or twice a month. I try to commute twice a week weather permitting.
