Not content with getting all my own children out on two wheels I've started on my son's friends and now his girlfriend.
Just been with said son to buy the girlfriend a second hand bike from a re-cycle place (a raleigh vixen in fairly good shape) Managed to haggle the price down and they've agreed to pick up three old bikes I have in the yard to boot.
My work here is done - for now.

Well done Sandra, I hope they can catch a bit of your enthusiasm and carry on cycling, even when the weather turns a bit iffy in the next few months.:bicycle: What next? Your own cycling club?

Well done.
All our friends still think that we are bonkers, their kids think that we are bonkers too.

I hope that they all carry on cycling. Maybe you should point them on to CC

Ooh, you never know.
A few years ago we (as a family) got heavily into tennis, when we moved house and couldn't join a club (not without taking out a bank loan anyway!) I did start up a junior tennis club which was very successful. I only stopped when work got in the way.

Saluki - most of my grown up friends think I'm bonkers too. Non-cycling adults are a lot harder to convert than the "yoof" it seems.
