Anti cable rub stickers - help request.

Afternoon everyone. I recently posted that the forks on my Boardman are being cut through by the gear cables, due to their being no stickers at the top of the forks to protect them. Boardman have got back in touch with me, but before I take it any further I want to give them a list of bike manufacturers that prevent this problem by simply applying stickers in the factory. So, simply put, if your bike came from the shop with these stickers already applied, please just let me know which brand it was. Thank you.

I've never seen any bike come with these type of stickers pre-installed by the manufacturer. Half of them don't even fit a chain stay guard.

None of our bikes came with stickers applied. I always applied stickers myself.

I had some 3M reflective tape that i put on my head tube to stop the scratches from the gear cable rub. It didn't come with the bike, just some i had bought to use on my bikes.

Never had a new bike supplied with any cable rub patches pre-applied.

I have bought bikes that came with some supplied on a sheet for me to fit, but never pre-fit by the manufacturer.

One of the first jobs I did when I got my Boardman Pro FS was to apply lots of heli tape to key areas where the bike will get abuse, from not just cables.

My Canyon CX came with pre-stuck frame stickers and chain guard.

The Bianchi came with stickers on.

Mrs Kes Trek Silque had a sheet of stickers included, but with the exception of the chainstay guard it was a diy application.

Even had a special shaped patch to protect the seatpost from being rubbed by the saddle pack though......

Frames used to sometimes come with chainstay protectors, but I've never had one with anything for cable rub.

Whyte do on their R7 hybrids, or did, they may have been supplied but both bikes I've bought second hand had them on HT/forks

My Kona came with stickers and little rubber do-dahs on the cables. I don't know if they were fitted by the factory or the dealer.

I think I'm correct in saying that B-Twins have rubber paint protectors on the cables.
