Any advice re roadsafe response?

I had a bad pass (video footage shown in Today's commute)

I had contacted the company and they tell me 'they will investigate internally'. Roadsafe have been very prompt with their response and action but can anyone tell me if this is sufficient (I've bolded the bit I wanted to check)?

"Your footage was viewed several times and although we agree that the overtaking manoeuvre was very close, this would not be classed as 'Dangerous Driving' "...... long reason given

"There is insufficient evidence to prove a case of dangerous driving however we may have been able to prove an offence of 'Driving Without Due Care and Attention' or 'Driving Without Reasonable Consideration' contrary to section 3 of the same Act.
If your intention was to pursue enforcement, you should have attended your local or a convenient police station and obtained the appropriate form (F966), completed and submitted it. You should not have contacted the company - by doing so, you have effectively taken the matter out of our hands."

It makes it difficult I suppose to rely upon what the company may say - i.e. they could 'invent' a story as they have time.

What's the point of pushing for a conviction anyway. Best thing is if the employer will give the driver a rollocking.

How long did you have to wait for roadsafe to respond.
I have submitted a couple of videos of what i considered to be dangerous driving but have heard nothing back on either occasion.

Within 2 hours of filling in form and within 1 hour from my reply.

Initial 2 hours included them calling the company.
