Lovely with a seared scallop on top. :hungry:, Bit 'Cheffy' I know but delicious with Samphire saute'ed in butter.
(not sure if its the scallop or the black pud that's the dish though)

Its amazing how the simple foods have acquired certain names, i grew up in North Wales on the banks of The Dee from a salmon fishing family.
Back in the day we called Samphire, Sampkin and we still do.

love black pudding i used to like making it too:thumbsup:

I love black pudding, but the black pudding you get here in Wales is horrible muck xx( best Ive ever had was from birmingham

BP is the best!

Once had it in a pub in Llangollen (the one overlooking the Rapids) all crumbled in a salad with a really nice dressing on, it was out of this world. Until then I'd only ever had it as a fry up/butty:hungry:

No full breakfast is complete without black pudding.A good black pudding is as essential as bubble and squeak with breakfast.:hungry:
