Any CCrs ever done "serious" distance racing?

Deliberately not put this in the pro/distance section as I want to include the lesser mortals.
I enjoy watching tdf and yesterday some of the Spanish one. BUT.......
those guys are just 'from another planet' compared to anything I have ever done eg as a teenager I spent a week cycling north Wales.......at a guess, maybe 350 miles in the week on my 1960 Triumph Palmspring.
These guys are doing over 2000 miles up mountains I could not contemplate although, again as a teenager, I did the Horshoe pass several times.
So
Just wondering if any CCrs have done "serious" stuff.

There are some quiet members who have done the TCR and North Cape. Although not a race, PBP and LEL too. All of those self supported events are serious distances done by amazing individuals. They are so humble about their efforts I doubt they would blow their own horns.

I would because I’m not as amazing as they are. One day perhaps. I’ll keep dreaming.

I went to the coast and back. It was around 153. I won’t bother blowing my horn until I’ve done the Yorkshire beast 200.
