My apologies for posting on this forum. I am currently training for my first 100 mile sportive in Ireland and i am going on holiday with the family in July to Coton in the Elms. Ryanair costing a fortune to take bike with me from Ireland to UK so was wondering if anyone would know of anywhere i could hire a road bike for a few days, just to keep the training going, and burn of the real ale.

Welcome to CC , i never thought of coton as a holiday destination but then again its local (ish ) to me ;)
As far as bike hire goes most bike hire places i know of tend to hire MTB rather than roadies and your looking at .
You could try contacting Lloyds cycles

Alternativly how long would you be here and what size would you be looking for ?, maybe between the collective forces of local CCers we could see what we can borrow or beg to keep you riding .

Apologies been away for a few days. Chose coton in the elms as not far from Drayton manor.I wanted cycling in Majorca kids wanted Drayton manor. Many thanks cyberknight that's an amazingingly kind offer. I would be need a 56cm frame. I'm a bit of a tubster at 16st so I'd be very self conscious borrowing someone's pride and joy in case something happened it
