501 is pretty good tubing . I have a Raleigh Criterium Triathlon 12 in the same material and find that it is very light and nice to ride .
The bike would look a lot better with a good clean and polish and would get a better price .
The bike has all the necessary components and just needs a bit of a service to get it up and running which all bikes need from time to time .
Given a bit of tlc it could look stunning .
