Not yet no. She only has experience of the 3 and 3.5 channel indoor copters.
I think I would be going for something a bit smaller, I fly helicopters and have done for about 5 or 6 years I have several including:
Blade Nano CPX - Indoor and good weather outdoor micro heli
Trex 250 - Outdoor only will hurt a lot if it hits you and cost you money
Esky Belt CP - Outdoor only 400 size heli will take off fingers and almost certainly result in an A+E visit and a very large repair bill if it hits you
I have just bought my first Quadcopter, hopefully it will be here today, I got this one:
Hubsan x4 H104L - Indoor light weather outdoor £26.88 - from here ->

I also looked at this
DROMIDA OMINUS 238MM - They say it is almost indestructible and a good buy for under £60 but probably more and outdoor than indoor.
I would think about getting something a bit cheaper and much smaller than the one you listed, I havent seen that one but it looks large, as if you crash that one you are looking at you will be looking at a large repair bill.
To give you an idea if I crash my Nano CPX micro heli it will either do nothing to it or worst case cost me under £20 to fix (unless it takes out the main board), if I crash my trex 250 it will break something and the last time I did this it cost me £70 to fix it and I only dropped it from about 2 feet, if I crash the 400 size it will be very expensive and I dont even want to think about it
So there you go just my thoughts take them or leave them.
