Any serious darts players on here?

My youngest son gave his Mum a Darts Board for Christmas so I have had to buy a dartboard stand, dartboard surround and four sets of darts. It all arrived today and I have been putting it all together. Shock! The dartboard centre should be 5’ 8” (1.73 meters)) from the floor. I can’t remember playing darts when younger with a board that high off the ground, but that’s what the internet says 😮

And at the same time the media are now ripping several tonnes of shoot about him daring to have a girl friend about 4 years older than him. Especially the media owned by the 92 year old guy who has married a succession of women at least 30 years his junior.

Can't beat the good old, 'build them up and knock them down,' routine.

I think he does. I know his girlfriend and she has a good head on her shoulders. She's nothing like the picture that the Sun painted of a makeup obsessed airhead.
