We are aiming to ride from Hillsborough to get onto the Trans-Pennine Route. Does anyone have any information about the shortest, least hilly way to get on to the TPT? If not, does anyone have any info on the fastest way from Sheffield to Woodhead using the least busy/predominantly off-road tracks?

Leave Sheffield in the morning on the TPT.
Trans-Pennine Express,
