Any special remedies for muscle cramp

When I used to race I'd always, without fail, cramp up towards the end of the last lap, whatever the race distance. Sometimes it waited until the sprint. I tried most things that others recommended to take....bananas, quinine tablets and various concoctions. Nothing seemed to work. I don't get it so much these days since I packed in racing but get it after a long ride, usually when I'm relaxing watching the Tele or reading a book. There's nothing quite like the pain of a good attack of cramp 😂

Been there so many times, to painfull to stand and work the muscles. Rolling around the floor only makes the wife grin 😂

I am sorry for reacting the way I did, I was was out of order.

Until it was pointed out here I had not noticed that the product was homeopathic, I fully understand peoples skepticism but stand by it's effectiveness.

My experience of cramp is when I‘ve pushed the muscles that are cramping harder than I’ve trained them. For example pushed my distance at higher pace than usual. Climbed more hills than usual. Fluid and electrolytes do little to remedy this. But I have found a good pummelling with a muscle gun is quite effectI’ve.

I had excruciating cramp in my left leg at 57 miles into the 66 mile Loch Ness Etape. I don’t think I drank enough, lots of stretching and taking the last climb very steadily got me to the end. one of the people I was with is an international triathlete who was loading electrolytes the day before, during and after the event.

I got cramp in bed last night after doing my first 100 miler of the year on a rather warm day. I sopped for a coffee and cake and felt crap afterwards. I felt I was struggling so was telling myself I ended to man up. So I pushed it too hard hence the cramp. Which I resolved with a muscle gun pumling and more water.
