Any way to trace this vehicle (make/model eyc)

i saw this sad vehicle while out walking at New Brighton. I really should have taken a Bigger photo but thought i could trace from the reg. Tried DVLA which tells me it doesn't exist.
It looks like an old Humber but thats a guess.

From the registration it would date to 1965 /66 .

Now, why would DVLA tell me its untraceable? Its parked on the road.

I 'thought' it was black but i suppose very dark blue is possible.
How did you trace that ?
If I am not mistaken.....even with a SORN it cannot be (legally) kept on the road without tax & insurance. Inside it is a wreck and I doubt its driveable.

Chequred MOT history. Done every second or third year this century. Failed one, worn ball joints.

It's now old enough that it won't need an MOT. It'll also be free vehicle excise duty - which it's got.

Basically as long as it's safe to drive it can be as shabby as needed.
