Anyone any tips for the Afan W2 trail?

Apart from 'don't fall off'

Going to do this trail on the 30th of this month with 3 mates. No idea what to expect, I have downloaded the trail map and it looks pretty confusing - arrows pointing everywhere as there are apparently 2 different start points.
Anyone know the best place to kick off from?

hang around the car park and ask someone who is there riding it for advice . that's what i did on a ride i didn't know . the two guys ended up taking me around on the first run and by the speed they set off on the second run where holding back just to show me around . friendly people these mtb riders
