I've just watched the last episode on iPlayer. Wasn't overly impressed with the series, could have been done better in 6 weeks rather than 10, but I loved the ending. More observant brains than mine probably saw it coming, but in my defence, I don't even read the blurb on the back of books in case it gives something away![]()
I love Torchwood but then I am also a DR Who fan.
Ditto the ringtoneMe too! My phone ringtone is Dr Who's theme tune, if I get a text it's K9 saying "Danger Mistress" I admit I am a complete Dr Who geek!
Loving Captain Jack being back on the screen too, but had an awkawrad moment, the other week, record the show so my bubs can watch it - Was totaly not prepared for the 'love scenes' & the questions #3 asked
A toss-up between this one and Season 2 imho.Well that was best series yet I reckon
I've not watched Doctor Who since the Christmas (not-so)Special.
Stuck with it to the end for some reason - probably that morbid fascination with watching a train wreck in slow motion. What a load of c**p. The whole thing was drawn out far too long, it spent ages on "personal interest" stories and long drawn out red herrings rather than having a plot - you got the feeling the script writers were making it up as they went. Although they had no problem with killing off loads of characters the whole plot revolved around "the whole world is collapsing but its more important I save my dad/sister/friend than save the world". The last episode was so ridiculous and full of holes - the characters had to spend ages in dialogue telling the baddies exactly what they were going to do next rather than getting on and doing it. The baddies in Buenos Aires could not shoot the goodies so a stand-off ensued rather than simply physically jumping them. And the baddies - all two of them - from the worlds most powerful mafia families would have fitted in better in an Only Fools and Horses script. The most terrifying revelation of the whole series was right at the end when it hinted at a sequel.
