I'm enjoying Torchwood, though I miss Ianto. 'Children of Earth' was excellent, shame this season isn't up to the same standards.

Ah well, anything got to be better than Doctor Who at the moment.

It's entertaining. Not quite as good as the earlier series, but this one has obviously been made for the yanks.

That explains a lot. I watched the first one, some of the second one before I got bored and fell asleep in the third one. OH is watching it although we are now 2 behind after not watching TV yesterday and being away last week. They are on the sky + box and as far as I am concerned, they can stay there. Boring boring boring. Not like the last series or the original series, they were good.

One possibility is all the time he "spent" with Jack, maybe, just maybe, he has some of Jacks essence. Another is that Jacks love and the rift somehow play witi the reality (rather like Amy bringing the Doctor back) .

I used to love Torchwood. I could even forgive a 'Ianto in the shower and the last seasons were just a dream' scenario at a push.

How do you know there is no defined story arc? I see one that has been there from day one.

They haven't planned it they are just fudging it every time they green light a new series.

"Hint" is a bit of an understatement

Although, as numerous Doctors have said, time can always be rewritten.

Personally I hope it is, but clearly it is the topic of much debate... (spoilers)
