I'll be there on Saturday morning. I'm looking for a few last minute bits for my trip to Scotland.

I'll be there, are you going to get out the trike and come on the BHPC ride Arch? There will be several of us near the back of that ride.

No alas, I'll be sticking around the site, manning the stand and generally socialising... I'll be on the evening ride to The Ship, as usual.

Apart from lethargy, the trike only has rear gears at the mo, and only 5 of them reliably....

I'm still in shock that I actually found Amsterdam very easy after being quite apprehensive about it. All those CC rides really helped. I now can't wait to find some hills in Scotland. And I'm feeling much much happier on the Galaxy.

I'll pop by and say Hi. Or look out for me rummaging amongst the gloves in shopping tent.

We will. It reopened some weeks back. No sign of floods at the moment, anyway.

The Ship is the Ship Inn in Acaster Malbis which is just south of York.

No, not this time. I will make it to one of the York meets though, I've friends in York whom I've not seen in a while. I was just curious as to whether I'd been in the pub as I remeber one as described but couldn't think of the name.

Route to the Ship Inn is as below. All welcome on the VV ride Saturday evening, 1930ish meet at the covered walkway near the entrance. Best eat first if poss!
