Anyone else think this is dodgy?

Why? As long as they didn't lie in the report (eg just say "this seems to cheap not to be stolen" not "I know this man and he is a bike thief"), why not leave it to the presumably well used processes within Gumtree?

Because by asking a couple of questions we could work out quicker than Gumtree if it was dodgy. If Gumtree is anything like Craigslist,they don't care if it dodgy as long as they are getting their cut.

I emailed him before reporting him.

His reply:

"Yea mint bike mate ride like new, its a shimmino on it and mavic wheels."

Or think F66k it i can sell elsewhere , it could well be dodgy but sometimes you can sell stuff and it goes for well below the right price.I sold my old carrera valued on here for £120-£150 and i got £85 for it

I was thinking more of Gumtree reinstating the advert, more than the seller.

gumtree don't get..... " their cut"..... its free to use
