I have a 100% success rate on wet audaxes. I can’t say the same for hot ones.
Almost 10yrs to answer, that has to be a record!I have a 100% success rate on wet audaxes. I can’t say the same for hot ones.
I used to hear this as well. And quite often when raining or overcast, and with a gentle wind in the right direction, it was a 'fast night'- although I suspect this was due to lower air pressure. When I started racing back in the day time trialists used to claim that rain meant there was more oxygen in the air and provided it wasn't cold or heavy enough to cause a hazard it improved performance.
Did I really just respond to a 10-year old post.
It does. By now, he’s REALLY rusty.Age doesn't make your point any less valuable.
Riding in the rain? Heaven forbid!Nearly ten years on, is this still true @Fab Foodie ?
