Anyone had this bug yet?

I've been laid up since since Friday night with this horrible bug that's going round. It started with me feeling weak then having the runs followed by severe vomiting. I'm just having my first food in nearly 4 days. i'm having a tin of lentil and bacon soup with some milk added and it's a bit of a struggle to get it down. The first few days were horrible, so much so that i called 111 and they sent an ambulance out. They were here for an hour checking me over, saying they'd been out to loads this last week with the same symptoms.

Bloody hell mate I hope your luck changes soon, I blame the internet as we did not have so many viruses before that was invented.

I had it once 15 years ago: it empties you from both ends at the same time. Not nice. Lie on the floor CLOSE to a toilet.

Keep warm and hydrated. You will feel terrible, but it should pass within 24 hours.

I'm not surprised. That sound a bad choice. Toast dry or with maybe some jam, chicken noodle soup, steam chicken breast and rice. Simple, low fibre, low fat and no dairy.

yes. Of course. Any soup with "cream" in it's name will have milk in it.
