Anyone know what this frame is?

Seen this on gumtree looks very nice lug work but can not tell what it is?
Any views on it?

Never seem lugs like that on a Dawes but very unusual and worth the asking price I'd say.

Wow, you don't see one like that every day. No idea what it is, but nice lugs, unusual rear dropouts and straight steel fork, weird handlebars, some Ultegra components - a very nice looking bike, and I'd say worth the asking price.

(And, ooh, I've got family in Carrickfergus, so if you don't want it... no, no, no, I really would be sleeping in the shed if I bought another one!)

Scott Drop-Ins - popular in the 90s. The straight fork suggest 90s too, but I don't recognise the lug work at all..

We used to have a guy in the club who'd drool over lug work. He had a Dawes and the lug work looked very similar to what's in the photo. The forks, on the other hand, don't look very Dawes ish.

Conclusion : Not a clue. Sorry.

Thanks for all the replies, i am considering buying its just 20 miles away? Really love the lugs and shot in seat stays its advertised as reynolds 531/501 but i would be very surprised if it was 501, seems like it may have been quite a good frame i seen similar lugs on a roberts bike but dont think it is a roberts.
