Have just been looking at this after my wife was unceremoniously dumped by Sainsbury's just 4-5 months after becoming a new customer.
Giffgaff came up as very competitive but some of the reviews were very damning and certainly removed any confidence in them dealing with problems. Maybe great if it all goes smoothly but otherwise you get what you pay for.
Ended up going to TalkTalk as out home phone/broadband/tv allows us to get cracking deals on the mobile network.
I had to use their community help when I first swapped and then looked into it then referred me to the proper technical help when it was beyond them, who sorted out a corrupted change of number pretty promptly.
