Anyone used to have a British Eagle bike?

At one point, me and my two brothers all had secondhand 'racing bikes' which we all rode.
Two of us always wanted to get on elder brother's five speed British Eagle.
We all reckoned it was the fastest, which probably meant lightest.
Good looking bike, too, in burnt metallic orange.
My brandless made up special was the hardest to get any speed out of.
Middle brother had a double clanger 10 speed in silver, but we still all preferred the Eagle.

Ah yes the double clanger . When I was at secondary school one of the sixth formers had a Freddie Grub with a double clanger . All of us spotty younger kids were in total awe of this amazing bicycle .
