A moderately skilled shot can drop a moving clay pigeon, so a real gull standing on a chimney ought to be a bit easier.

Some poachers use quality air weapons because an air weapon is relatively quiet.

One of those guys could do the job.

I've shot air weapons and shotguns as a teenager, and was rubbish at both.

If it was me pulling the trigger the gull would die of old age before I hit it.
