Anyone watching Good Omens on Netflix?

I know it is on prime, but a fundamentalist christian group in the US is petitioning Netflix to cancel it

I haven't watched it, and want terribly drawn in by the trailers. In fact, despite having read just about everything Pratchett wrote until about 2000ish.

I might have to check it out now though.

I am not sure I want to watch it. I was rather disappointed by the Discworld adaptations, and American Gods was meh.

I think Pratchett's work doesn't really go well on to the screen.

As for the bible bashing god botheres.. Ffs they got enough to worry about without worrying about some tv show

Really liked the book and got the 30 day free prime trial to watch it.
It was ok. Enjoyed some of the bits, but it seemed a bit superficial.

We've watched the first episode and it's okay, not brilliant. My wife's a huge fan of Pratchett so we'll give it a few more episodes and see how it goes.

I've finished the series. It was a solid 6 out of 10 on my never rated a TV show before scale. Had the potential to be awesome if they had gone darker with it but I suspect it would have deviated too much from the original.

Worth it on a rainy evening in June.

I don't play video games, so I missed those. His daughter is a video game designer, was she involved in those?

I watched the first two episodes then realised what an odious git Tennant is. I watched no further.
