These don't. I have must be ten ribbed pairs in many colourful designs. I pay £10 a pair for them. They are so comfy, wash well and are very breathable. The only slight downside is they take over a day to dry after washing, due to the quality thickness of them.

I usually get most of my socks from the Paul Smith shop at the York designer outlet. They occasionally have cycling socks as well.

Where do bamboos live? Would they thrive in the UK, and get on with my goats and alpacas?

You don't want them in the UK, they destroy driveways and houses !

Did I mention we have a field of Alpacas at the back of the house. They seem very friendly as they came across to see us when we were taking young Bertie for his walk on the path by the field.
They didn’t offer us any socks though.
