Thank you both. My mum's alive and lives five doors away. But I've not been round for two days.

It's been over 20 years since I lost my parents. I never stop thinking about them or wishing they were still here. We were never a close, loving, huggy type family. But when they are gone from your life, your life is just that little bit empty without them.

Like others have posted i'd like to see my parents again. My dad died 14 years ago and my mum's in a home 38 miles away. I pass our old family home(for 51 years)nearly every day and think back to those times. If i could spend one day with them in 1970 again i'd be happy.

When I asked the question this morning, i was told some more sleep would be good but it was only 6 am and the sun was blinding us both.
