If apple were the first company to manufacture a TV with a remote control, should that mean no other manufacturer can follow suit?

And what gave Daimler the idea to put a gear box in their cars? Other cars maybe?

I think the fact this case was thrown out of UK courts but has gone through in USA, where vast amounts of money has a lot more leverage over legal proceedings says a lot.

There was a case in South Korea too that concluded yesterday.

Which Apple had already pinched from someone else and then patented.

This case just makes me even more likely to buy products from Samsung or HTC rather than Apple. There always was a Cult aspect to their marketing, now they are turning into Scientologists.

I love my apple stuff over Microsoft stuff as it just works and whilst I can see that Samsung really did steal the look and feel of the iPhone and there is a reason the iPhone is everywhere (typing on one now) in looking at the galaxy S3 next as I'm bored with the iPhone and if the new one on Sept 12th does look like the leaks I will be buying the S3.

Apples innovation has slowed down!

They see current tech and find a way to make it better and truly usable. Will they still do that without Jobs? Don't think so!
