Are my tyres too thin?

Oh god, if its icy I think id have to sucome to using the car, 4x4 with winter tyres on is great combo

They are fine.
Bike tyres do not (cannot) aquaplane in the wet.

However best to steer clear of painted lines and road ironwork when wet.

Oh god tell me about it, used a scooter for 2 years.

I ride on 23s - no problem - although I had some 25s which felt nicer - when I run out of the mountain of 23mm Durano Plus I bought in a sale a while ago (which will probably be in about 10 years...) I would probably buy 25mm...but not much in it i wouldn't think.
