I'd worry more about my diet if I was getting through a 24 pack of bog roll every week!
It could be a strategy. This is why @PaulSB doesn't utility cycle. Has to sprint for the loo every 2 mins 😂
Your remarks about a six mile ride being perfect for utility riding piqued my interest so I decided I would experiment on my next weekly visit to town. The supermarket aside I had three town centre shops to visit, one out of town shop and Tesco. I planned what I feel is the most efficient route; making the ride home with the full load as flat as possible.Touring bike will do it and you bungee the 24 pack across top of panniers

My route was 15 miles in total with the last 8 miles being fully loaded carrying 29.25kg of shopping. I don't know the weight tourers can carry but I'd hazard a guess 29kg is top end, probably very tough to pull and potentially unstable.
You won't find me doing a weekly utility shop and my life doesn't require me popping out anywhere for a few bits!!!!
The shop.
