The 'what discipline' thread was surprising in how few people raced or rode 'seriously' Whic hled me to think, do people cycle in regular groups, and if so, do the have a formal structure?

The closest I ever got to riding any kind of event was the Audaxes I used to do. Even then I usually rode on my own. Cycling's always been a pretty solitary activity for me.

No, never found a club I liked the look of. It'd be more serious social rides in the countryside but nutty enough to commute.

No, but I really should join one. I keep meaning to go on their Sunday morning club run but something always comes up or I decide to ride alone. I do like riding alone mind!
