Let me give you a little bit of advice. You're relatively new here and I would suggest you might last a little longer if you were less rude and insulting to members who have been here for some time.

I happen to know Clarion in real life and have done for a number of years. Yes - he can be an annoying little knob at times (and I'm sure he'd say the same thing about me) but one thing that I know for a fact is that he is not transphobic - something our mutual trans friends will confirm. In fact, he is very LGBTQ friendly.

You clearly misunderstood the point he was making, which was that you were confusing sex and gender, and you've responded by attacking him personally in a most inappropriate and offensive manner.

Of course, if you had a shred of decency, you'd apologise to him. But somehow, looking at your postings on this thread, I don't think you will be man enough to admit you're wrong and do the decent thing - so I shall take the dellzeqq option.

Dear Regular,
Of course you are free to give me advice. However whether I see any value in it will be decisive as to whether I think it warrants adoption.
Yes I am new here although why that should be relevant to my courtesy I am unsure. Of course I have to say I find it a little rich being called rude and insulting by you and a tad hypocritical.

I am sure you believe the length of your friendship with Clarion to be pertinent to the question in hand. You also seem to see relevance in referencing your mutual Trans friends. However I do not.
I see it as akin to claiming black friends in defence of ones views on race.
Ones views and behaviour either stand or fall on merit not on association.

The refutation was never about whether he is Transphobic at all!
I am sorry that you misunderstood this.
I did not misunderstand the point he was making with regards to gender and sex.
However I did see rather startling parallels between the very majority driven prescriptive definition of faith and religion and the definition of gender roles and sex.
I did not attack him personally; I did however use his faith allegiance to highlight an inconsistent approach to majority prescriptive definition and denial of self definition.
I was aware that it may be seen as a personal attack or an attack on the Quaker faith and messaged him to try and allay such a misconception.

I did not attack him personally! What I did was call into question the consistency of his approach and its apparent dissonance.

I find your labelling of my approach as Inappropriate and offensive as utterly disingenuous as I do your requests for an apology, especially considering your closely following insults.
If this really is a request born out of concern for Clarions feelings I consider it laudable and will of course offer my complete apology for any unintended offence I caused.
However as you can probably tell I have my doubts about your motivation.

Yes. i found that statement rather perplexing. Do you get seniority stripes or something for having been here a while?
No, Greg, but the longer-serving members know who is likely to be talking bollix and can skim over their repetitive, pompous, strident, never-wrong rhetoric without even having to waste an insult.
