What a great ride yesterday, despite the rain, one of the most enjoyable CC Ecosse rides I have been on.

I felt I rode strongly most of the day and only really had problems just after Lochranza, even at times keeping up with @Rasmus (downhill mostly) and then struggled with knee problems for the last 8 miles.

Echo pretty much all your comments John, including knee. 15 miles on bike today, bimbling with my recuperating pal Bernie. I had knee support & ibuprofen. Still hurt but wouldn't have missed Saturday for the world. Mad ... I know.

Still on Arran. More Machrie cake yesterday (yellow dress v. nice). Off for Lochranza ferry now. Cycling Crinan Canal tomorrow.
