Get your felt-tips out and have a go at making a copy. Or do something similar. If it's any good pass it off as your own work, and that's a Xmas present sorted for someone.

The work has a vague similarity to an artist called Brian Plummer - who used to be my tutor when I took myself seriously...a bit too scruffy for him.

Broadly I agree, and he's done better.
But hey ho, we've gone from 'impressive' to 'a bit sh!t' via 'poncy' in the name of art so everyone wins. Or something.
