As Winter closes in...

...I have just bought my first carbon fibre road bike. Great fun! But not great timing with the weather changing for the worst. I am undecided as to what mudguards to fit (I bought a Cannondale Synapse) I was considering Crud Roadracer mudguards...but are they as protective as the classic chromoplastic style?

Haven't experienced mine in the rain yet on my carbon ribble. Will let you know after my drenching tomorrow.
