A great idea, but it'd have to earn me a helluva lot to cover the expense of buying a smartphone.

I try not to be paranoid but I suspect such things could be a two edged sword. I really don't like the idea of being tracked outside any working hours.

Once a workout is logged, the distance travelled is converted into a special “biko” currency that can be cashed in at a number of local merchants.

Currently Starbucks, Burger King, Taco Bell and a number of other businesses have all come on board for the initiative.

Can we merge this with the "you cannot outride a bad diet" thread?

I know you work there but you must be one of the only decent employees

AW, shucks, thanks.
Can you upload from a garmin and do you get halfords points ?
I haven't used it for ages because it kept posting randomly to Facebook and stopping mid ride, but have just looked and it does say you can share data from other devices. You get "points" to spend in store, but it works in % discounts rather than hard cash I think.
I wasn't suggesting it as a good alternative, just pointing out it wasn't a new idea. But, give it a go and see if you get on with it better than I did.

Seems all the rewards are for things i would not use , cant see halfords as an option to spend points unless im missing something ?
