ATC5K handlebar mounts

I seem to have a problem with ATC5K handlebar mounts. I have broken 3 in the past few years; I don't know if it is the heat and humidity here. Replacements are available at £9.99 + p&p to Bangkok but do I really need another bit of kit that may fail at any time?
I searched the 'net to try and find a better clamp and I came across this site - http://www.cameragrip.co.uk/index.html and I found the Flymount http://www.cameragri...mera_mount.html

I tried it out on the hybrid and the rod bike and it performs well

I have not had time to upload the videos yet but thdere seems to be a bit less shake.
